रक्त एक विशेष शरीर का तरल पदार्थ है। इसके चार मुख्य घटक है;प्लाज्मा,लाल रक्त कोशिकाएं ,श्वेत रक्त कोशिकाएं और प्लेटलेट्स। रक्त के कई अलग अलग कार्य है ,जिनमे शामिल है :फेफड़ों और उत्तको को ऑक्सीजन और पोषक तत्वों का परिवहन।

FUNCTION OF BLOOD  :-

•  Transporting oxygen and nutrients to the lungs and tissues.
• Forming blood clots to prevent excess blood loss.
• carrying cells and antibodies that fight infection
• bringing waste products to the kidneys and liver,which filter and clean the blood.
• regulating body temperature.

रक्त का कार्य :-

• फेफड़ो और उत्तको को ऑक्सीजन और पोषक तत्वों का परिवहन 
• अतिरिक्त खून की कमी को रोकने के लिए रक्त के थक्को गठन 
• संक्रमण से लड़ने वाली कोशिकाओं और ऐंटीबॉडी को ले जाना 
• गुर्दे और यकृत में अपशिस्ट उत्पाद लाते है ,जो रक्त को फ़िल्टर और साफ़ करते है 
• शरीर के तापमान को नियंत्रित करना
